Kashi is a pure blend of seven whole grains and sesame seeds. The grains and seeds are steamed at nearly 1000°F for only 15 seconds so the grains retain more of their nutrients, fiber and individual shapes. During this process the sesame seeds burst, imparting a unique flavor to the cereal.
