It tastes like a crunchy chocolate milkshake.
Snap! Crackle! and Pop! became the new mascot in 2001, replacing Coco the Monkey on boxes of Kellogg's Cocoa Krispies - now renamed Kellogg's Cocoa Rice Krispies.

This cereal is very low in Cholesterol. It is also a good source of Manganese, and a very good source of Vitamin C, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Folate, Vitamin B12 and Iron.
Recipe for Cocoa Krispies Drumstick --
Ingredients:
3 Tablespoons Margarine or Butter.
1 Package (10 ounces - about 40) Regular Marshmallows OR 4 Cups of Miniature Marshmallows.
6 Cups Kellogg's Rice Krispies Cereal.
Peanut Butter
Kellogg's Cocoa Rice Krispies Cereal
Preparation Instructions:
In a large microwave-safe bowl, heat margarine and marshmallows at HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir until smooth.
Add Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated.
Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan coated with cooking spray. Allow to cool slightly.
Cut cereal mixture with a knife into drumstick shapes. Spread peanut butter over top of each drumstick, then roll in the Cocoa Rice Krispies cereal. Chill until firm. Best if served the same day. (Yeah...Right. As if they're gonna last more than a day at my house!). Yield: 12 servings.
Stovetop Method
Melt margarine in a large saucepan over Low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Follow steps 2 through 4, above.
NOTE:
For best results, use fresh marshmallows.
1 jar (7 ounces) marshmallow creme can be substituted for marshmallows.
Diet, reduced-calorie or tub margarine is not recommended.
Store no more than two days in airtight container.
